15th - 19th of August
Another usual week at work with the same usual work, updating the B2B website, check for any inquiry. There's nothing much that I can do during this week 'cause boss did not come to the office for the whole week, and have not yet emailed me the information that I needed for the Hindalco's letterhead and business card, and also he have not yet tell me what changes I should do for the finalization of the work I've done. On the 19th of August (Friday), boss called me through phone cause he was not in the office. He was asking me to design a new logo for this Indian company called Headwin Exim, but I haven't completed it yet, just some few research and sketches.

43-47 days of internship
8th - 12th of August
As usual, Monday was not a good day for me, it is because there's always nothing that I can do except for my daily task that is to update the 5 platforms of B2B website. There's was nothing much that i had to do on Monday (8th August). On the 10th-11th i start on doing the letterhead for the Hindalco's company,as usual, research,sketching and importing it to the computer to digitalize it. But still, until now I haven't had the chance to complete it since my boss did not give me the information to be put in the letterhead. I also did some retouches on the business card for the Hindalco's company, again it is not complete finish because of the missing information that my boss said he wanted to give me. On the 12th of August, I was called for a meeting around 12.30pm. In the meeting, we were discussing about finalizing everything that I've done during the internship period, so he asked me to list down everything that I've done and emailed it to him, since he will be really busy for the following week. So after the meeting ended, I emailed him everything that needs to be finalize. Well that's it for the whole week, below are few example of the business card:

38-42 days of internship
On the 30th of July (Saturday) I had to work from home, cause boss need to finalize the coal bag on that day cause his company want to used it ASAP. The sad part of that day is that, he said that all the packaging that I emailed him was to fancy, he wants he really really really simple. So finally I end up with this design for the cement bag:

1st - 5th of August
I was still waiting for my boss answer for the Hindalco logo design, before he choose the two design that he asked me to play with the colors placement, but until now I still have no answers about the final logo. So on the 1st - 5th of August I was really free, there's was not much work I have to do, except for the daily task that I have to do, which is updating the B2B website and also do the searching on other steel melting company. But on the 4th of July, boss come to my place for dinner with my family, at dinner I was asked to design a business card for the Hindalco company, even though he have not yet choose the final logo design. So the next day, I started to do some research on simple business card design and some few sketches.

32-37 days of Internship
It has been a long, really long time that I haven't updated my blog, I've been really busy with works, plus some family gathering and activities and travelling around with friends. Well to be honest, puasa have made me a little bit lazy to work, but I still manage to complete my work on time.
22nd to 29th of July
On the 22nd of July, which falls on friday, there's nothing much that I have to do except updating the B2B website and do some finalization again on the brochure design. On the 25th of July, I was given a new task, that is to create a new packaging design for Wellcarbon company, and to new logo design for his other company (Hindalco). Besides I have to continue searching for the lastest News about coal product and also, I have to search again for more steel melting company. So after being brief about what I should do, I started to do a little research on packaging (like cement beg) and also some research for the new logo design. On the 26th - 29th of July, I started to work on the sketching, importing the sketches (logo and packaging) into computer and create it in AI. On the 29th of July the logo (I was to do a simple font type logo) and packaging was finalize, so I emailed my boss for him to choose the design that he wants, I also started to do the steel melting company research and the latest news about coal product after submitting the design to my boss.
End with 7 font type logo with different color:

29-31 days of internship
18th - 21th July 2011
I was ask to design a brochure. so it took me like a few days to complete the overall brochure design. There was also a reference for me to follow, the reference was given by the boss. It is not my final design brochure since the boss said i still have to do some little modification to it, but i haven't start the modification yet, since the boss said he'll discuss about it later. In between those days, i also have to update the B2B website and check if there is any enquiry from any customers. Well, on the 16th and 17th of july, which is saturday and sunday. Boss can't stop calling me and ask me to duplicate the receipt that he wanted to used immediately. It was kind of though because we were discussing about what he wants through the phone. He started asking me to do it, on the saturday night, so i end up finishing what he wants on sunday evening. Well that is an experience! Below are some example of my brochure design and the duplication of the receipt that is put into words file:

I was given a new task again, that was to re-design the existing business card. So i do the things that i usually do before putting all the design in the computer. So i ended up with 4 different design of business card.
